Guangzhou's Panyu District is set to host the 37th Guangdong Fashion Week Spring Session from April 17 to 24. The event will also mark the launch of the "Guangdong Goods, Global Reach" special promotion, focusing on apparel and accessories.
During the event, more than 60 themed activities will be presented across five major sections: debut runway shows, innovation empowerment, supply-demand matchmaking, cross-sector integration, and fashion consumption.
The event will showcase cutting-edge technologies, new processes, materials, and equipment from companies such as Jack Technology and LI-GONG, highlighting Guangdong's strengths in advanced manufacturing and modern services.
The opening show will be presented by Inman, a brand under Guangzhou Huimei Fashion Group, featuring China's first AI-immersive fashion show in the women's wear sector integrated with an instant retail experience. Meanwhile, Guangzhou Textiles Holdings Limited will host a smart fashion-themed exhibition.
The Fashion Week will also see original brands from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area making a collective debut. The event will also host intangible cultural heritage fashion shows. Industry chain supply-demand matchmaking meetings and joint exhibitions of foreign trade bases will also be held during this time.
